Hello I am Lena. A normal girl with a normal family. I'm twelve years old and I'm in sixth grade. I live with my twin sister Nina and my parents in a small farming village. Our village consists of ten houses and is located next to a large forest with many clearings. Many animals live in the forest and during the day Nina and I often play hide-and-seek or other games in the forest. Sometimes we go exploring too. Now we have just come back from fishing in the forest.
It is already around five o'clock when we arrive at the front door. I press the doorknob. At first the door is stuck, but then it opens with a jerk. This is almost always the case, because our door is very old.
Inside, we first look for our parents. They are in the kitchen preparing dinner. I move into my room, which is teeming with horse posters. Horses are my favorite animals. I would love to ride. But the nearest riding school is several kilometers from here and we don't have a car. That's why I can forget about the riding school right away. I'm painting a unicorn now.
