Children's Book Festival
The Children's Book Festival is an integral part of the international literature festival BuchBasel. Authors and illustrators will present their new works. The next Children's Book Festival will take place on 15.–17. November 2024.

Stories in Kannenfeldpark
The big reading festival always takes place on the last Sunday in August: Stories from all over the world are read aloud every thirty minutes in eight Mongolian yurts in Kannenfeldpark. With GGG Stadtbibliothek, Bibliothek St. Johann Jukibu, Baobab Books, Bibliothek PZ.BS, KJM Basel, Musikbox der Vera Oeri Bibliothek, Club der Vorlesenden und Basel Authors. The next event is on 15 September 2024.
 

Club of the Readers
In a one-day basic seminar, all topics and principles for the work as a volunteer reader are discussed and worked on. Those who have attended this seminar are accepted into the Club of the readers, receive a certificate, an ID card, a log book, and an annual pass from the GGG public library.
